Moreover Manasses shed also very much innocent blood, till he filled Jerusalem up to the mouth: besides his sins, wherewith he made Juda to sin, to do evil before the Lord.


The murderer riseth at the very break of day; he killeth the needy, and the poor man: but in the night he will be as a thief.


And he ascended upon the cherubim, and he flew; he flew upon the wings of the winds.


Come let us adore and fall down: and weep before the Lord that made us.


Lie not in wait, nor seek after wickedness in the house of the just, nor spoil his rest.


But thy eyes and thy heart are set upon covetousness and upon shedding innocent blood and upon oppression and running after evil works.


Thou hast cursed his sceptres, the head of his warriors, them that came out as a whirlwind to scatter me. Their joy was like that of him that devoureth the poor man in secret.

Consider and see all his lurking holes, wherein he is hid; and return to me with the certainty of the thing, that I may go with you. And if be should even go down into the earth to hide himself, I will search him out in all the thousands of Juda.
