My just one is near at hand, my saviour is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people. The islands shall look for me, and shall patiently wait for my arm.


Arise, arise, put on strength, O thou arm of the Lord: arise as in the days of old, in the ancient generations. Hast not thou struck the proud one, and wounded the dragon?


The Lord hath prepared his holy arm in the sight of all the Gentiles: and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.


I have trodden the winepress alone: and of the Gentiles there is not a man with me. I have trampled on them in my indignation and have trodden them down in my wrath. And their blood is sprinkled upon my garments: and I have stained all my apparel.

And I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and I will save them by the Lord their God: and Iwill not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.


Behold, the hour cometh, and it is now come, that you shall be scattered every man to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.


But unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
