Jesus therefore said to them: If God were your Father, you would indeed love me. For from God I proceeded and came. For I came not of myself: but he sent me.


And when he had brought them into his own house, he laid the table for them: and rejoiced with all his house, believing God.


For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink: but justice and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.


Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing: that you may abound in hope and in the power of the Holy Ghost.


If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.


Who also hath sealed us and given the pledge of the Spirit in our hearts.


That he was caught up into paradise and heard secret words which it is not granted to man to utter.


While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal: but the things which are not seen, are eternal.


(For we walk by faith and not by sight.)


Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.


But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity,


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by Charity.


To know also the charity of Christ, which surpasseth all knowledge: that you may be filled unto all the fulness of God.


Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.


And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all, for your furtherance and joy of faith:


For we are the circumcision, who in spirit serve God and glory in Christ Jesus, not having confidence in the flesh.


Rejoice in the Lord always: again, I say, rejoice.


Now, faith is the substance of things to be hoped for, the evidence of things that appear not.


By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the fierceness of the king: for he endured, as seeing him that is invisible.


Wherein you shalt greatly rejoice, if now you must be for a little time made sorrowful in divers temptations:


To you therefore that believe, he is honour: but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner:


And when the prince of pastors shall appear, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.
