The fear of the Lord is what wisdom teaches, and humility comes before honour.


The poor person pleads, but the rich one answers roughly.


Do you see a person skilled in his work? He will stand in the presence of kings. He will not stand in the presence of the unknown.


Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength,  because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or wisdom  in Sheol where you are going.


‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven   is theirs.


Do not lack diligence in zeal; be fervent in the Spirit;  , serve the Lord.


Let us not get tired  of doing good,  for we shall reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

Ruth the Moabitess said, ‘He also told me, “Stay with my young men until they have finished all of my harvest.” ’


The servant answered, ‘She is the young Moabite woman who returned with Naomi from the territory of Moab.


Then Boaz said to Ruth, ‘Listen, my daughter.  Don’t go and gather corn in another field, and don’t leave this one, but stay here close to my female servants.
