The artistically woven waistband that was on the ephod was of one piece with the ephod, according to the same workmanship of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of finely spun linen, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.


Righteousness will be a belt round his hips; faithfulness will be a belt round his waist.


Suddenly one with human likeness  touched my lips.  I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me, ‘My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.


I continued watching in the night visions, and suddenly one like a son of man was coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.


‘As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of his head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.


He put the tunic on Aaron, wrapped the sash round him, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod  on him. He put the woven band of the ephod round him and fastened it to him.


For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are,  yet without sin.


Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and one like the Son of Man  , was seated on the cloud, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.


Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, dressed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes wrapped round their chests.
