Receive instruction from his mouth, and place his sayings  in your heart.


Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching,


The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of the fool hastens destruction.


My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;


Don’t lose sight of them; keep them within your heart.


Her feet go down to death; her steps head straight for Sheol.


My son, keep your father’s command, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching.


He will not be appeased by anything or be persuaded by lavish bribes.


He said, ‘Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God   and keep it.’


But the seed in the good ground #– #these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring,   produce fruit.


Jesus answered, ‘If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.


Remember the word I spoke to you: “A servant is not greater than his master.”   If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word,   they will also keep yours.


and a curse, if you do not obey the commands of the Lord your God and you turn aside from the path I command you today by following other gods you have not known.


Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy,  and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep  what is written in it, because the time is near.


But he said to me, ‘Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you, your brothers the prophets, and those who keep the words of this book. Worship God! ’
