Many women who had followed Jesus from Galilee and looked after him were there, watching from a distance.


Simon’s mother-in-law was lying in bed with a fever, and they told him about her at once.


When  evening came, after the sun had set, they brought to him all those who were ill  and demon-possessed.


In Galilee  these women followed him and took care of him. Many other women had come up with him to Jerusalem.


Then he took the child  by the hand and said to her, ‘Talitha koum’  (which is translated, ‘Little girl, I say to you, get up’   ).


He gave her his hand and helped her stand up. He called the saints and widows and presented her alive.
