He said, ‘If you will carefully obey the Lord your God, do what is right in his sight, pay attention to his commands, and keep all his statutes, I will not inflict any illnesses on you that I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.’


They were all amazed,  and so they began to ask  each other, “What is this? A new teaching  with authority!  , He commands even the unclean  spirits,  and they obey him.’


Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another, ‘What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out! ’


Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him,  saying, ‘I am willing; be made clean,’ and immediately the leprosy left him.


Jesus went with them, and when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to tell him, ‘Lord, don’t trouble yourself, since I am not worthy to have you come under my roof.


For I too am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one, “Go,” and he goes; and to another, “Come,” and he comes; and to my servant, “Do this,” and he does it.’


See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.


The Lord brings death and gives life; he sends some down to Sheol, and he raises others up.
