Because of his righteousness, the Lord was pleased to magnify his instruction and make it glorious.


He said to me, ‘You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.’


When Jesus heard it, he said, ‘This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God,   so that the Son of God   may be glorified through it.’

sown in dishonour,  raised in glory;  sown in weakness, raised in power;


when he was insulted, he did not insult in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten but entrusted himself to the one who judges  justly.
