But as for the nation that will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave it in its own land, and that nation will cultivate  it and reside in it. This is the Lord’s declaration.’ ” ’


How  she sits alone, the city  once crowded with people! She who was great among the nations has become like a widow. The princess among the provinces has been put to forced labour.


We secure our food at the risk of our lives because of the sword in the wilderness.
