When Leah’s slave Zilpah bore Jacob a second son,


The sons of Leah’s slave Zilpah were Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan-aram.


Asher’s sons:  Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah. Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malchiel.


Asher’s  food will be rich, and he will produce royal delicacies.


Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also praises her:


But my dove,  my virtuous one, is unique; she is the favourite of her mother, perfect to the one who gave her birth. Women see her and declare her fortunate; queens and concubines also, and they sing her praises:


because he has looked with favour on the humble condition of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed,
