If the axe is dull, and one does not sharpen its edge, then one must exert more strength; however, the advantage of wisdom is that it brings success.


yet the fool multiplies words. No one knows what will happen, and who can tell anyone what will happen after him?


Woe to you, land, when your king is a youth and your princes feast in the morning.


Even when the fool walks along the road, his heart lacks sense, and he shows everyone he is a fool.


Why do you spend silver on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest of foods.


The righteous person perishes, and no one takes it to heart; the faithful are taken away, with no one realising that the righteous person is taken away because of   evil.


Won’t all of these take up a taunt against him, with mockery and riddles about him? They will say, ‘Woe to him who amasses what is not his – how much longer?   – and loads himself with goods taken in pledge.’
