19 This continued day after day until two full years passed. Then his intestines came out because of his disease, and he died from severe  illnesses. But his people did not hold a fire in his honour like the fire in honour of his predecessors.

And after having been wasted by a long consumption, so much so that even his inner organs were discharged, the disease ended along with his life. And so he died of a very grievous illness. He was buried in his own tomb that he had made for himself in the city of David. They laid him out in a coffin that was full of spices and various mixtures of prepared ointments;  then they made a great fire in his honour.
