6 ‘Look,’ the servant said, ‘there’s a man of God  in this city who is highly respected; everything he says is sure to come true.  Let’s go there now. Maybe he’ll tell us which way we should go.’

Heaven and earth will pass away,   but my words will never pass away.


This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave the Israelites before his death.


You are witnesses,  and so is God, of how devoutly, righteously,  and blamelessly  we conducted ourselves with you believers.


and to regard them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace  among yourselves.


But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,  endurance,  and gentleness.


A man of God came to Eli and said to him,  ‘This is what the Lord says: “Didn’t I reveal myself to your forefather’s family  when they were in Egypt and belonged to Pharaoh’s palace?


The servant answered Saul, ‘Here, I have a little  silver. I’ll give it to the man of God, and he will tell us which way we should go.’
