2 This is what the Lord of Armies says: “I witnessed  what the Amalekites did to the Israelites when they opposed them along the way as they were coming out of Egypt.

Timna, a concubine of Esau’s son Eliphaz, bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau’s wife Adah.


No longer will one teach his neighbour or his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,”  for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them’   #– #this is the Lord’s declaration. ‘For I will forgive their iniquity  and never again remember their sin.


But they never consider that I remember all their evil. Now their actions are all around them; they are right in front of my face.
