20 After some time,  Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel,  because she said, ‘I requested him from the Lord.’

She gave birth to a son whom he named Gershom,  for he said, ‘I have been a resident foreigner  in a foreign land.’


She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus,  because he will save his people from their sins.’


And what more can I say? Time is too short for me to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah,  David, Samuel, and the prophets,
