20 For what credit is there if when you do wrong and are beaten, you endure it? But when you do what is good and suffer,  if you endure it, this brings favour with God.

And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what are you doing out of the ordinary?   , Don’t even the Gentiles   do the same?


Then some began to spit on him, to blindfold him, and to beat him, saying, ‘Prophesy! ’  The temple servants  also took him and slapped him.


If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.


Up to the present hour we are both hungry and thirsty; we are poorly clothed, roughly treated, homeless;


But it is always good to be pursued  in a good manner #– #and not just when I am with you.


testing  what is pleasing  to the Lord.


But I have received everything in full,  and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied,  having received from Epaphroditus  what you provided #– #a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing  to God.


For it brings favour if, because of a consciousness of God, someone endures grief from suffering unjustly.


But even if you should suffer for righteousness,  you are blessed. Do not fear them   ,or be intimidated,   ,


For it is better to suffer  for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
