When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of Armies.


Now, Lord God, fulfil the promise for ever that you have made to your servant and his house. Do as you have promised,


‘Go to my servant David and say, “This is what the Lord says: Are you to build me a house to dwell in?


Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting.’ Then all the people said, ‘Amen’ and ‘Praise the Lord.’


He is the one who will build a house for me,  and I will establish his throne for ever.


He is the one who will build a house for my name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.”


Then David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly. David said, May you be blessed, Lord God of our father Israel, from eternity to eternity.


Then David said to the whole assembly, ‘Blessed be the Lord your God.’ So the whole assembly praised the Lord God of their ancestors.  They knelt low and paid homage to the Lord and the king.


They assembled in the Valley of Beracah  on the fourth day, for there they blessed the Lord. Therefore, that place is still called the Valley of Beracah today.


He said: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel! He spoke directly to my father David, and he has fulfilled the promise by his power. He said,


Then the Levites #– #Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah   #– #said, ‘Stand up. Blessed be the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting.’ Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.


But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.’ For the mouth of the  Lord has spoken.


Heaven and earth will pass away,   but my words will never pass away.


Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and provided redemption for his people.


just as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets in ancient times;


He has dealt mercifully with our ancestors and remembered his holy covenant   –


Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ.


None of the good promises the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed. Everything was fulfilled.


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of his great mercy  he has given us new birth  into a living hope  through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead


Then David said to Abigail, ‘Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,  who sent you to meet me today!
