He has said in his heart, “Ěl has forgotten, He has hidden His face, He shall never see.”


Ruthless witnesses rise up; They ask me that which I knew not.


Their inner thoughts are their houses, forever; Their dwelling places, to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.


For there is no stability in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open burial-site; They flatter with their tongue.


Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, But a man of understanding draws it up.
