I have been bent down; I have been bowed down very much; All day long I have gone mourning.


For You are the Elohim of my strength. Why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?


Hear my voice, O Elohim, in my meditation; Guard my life from the threats of the enemy.


Truly, Elohim has heard me; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.


I remembered Elohim, and groaned; I complained, and my spirit grew faint. Selah.


“Like a swallow or a thrush, so I chattered; I moaned like a dove; my eyes look weakly on high. O יהוה, I am oppressed, undertake for me!


All of us growl like bears, and moan sadly like doves. We look for right-ruling, but there is none; for deliverance, but it is far from us.


You have heard my voice, Do not hide Your ear from my groaning, From my outcry!
