And יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.”
And Yitsḥaq brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent. And he took Riḇqah and she became his wife, and he loved her. Thus Yitsḥaq was comforted after his mother’s death.
And Ya‛aqoḇ did so and completed her week. Then he gave him his daughter Raḥĕl too, as wife.
A capable wife is the crown of her husband, But one causing shame is like rottenness in his bones.
Houses and riches are the inheritance from fathers, But an understanding wife is from יהוה.
Thus finding favour and good insight In the eyes of Elohim and man.
“For whoever finds me shall find life, And obtain favour from יהוה,
See life with the wife whom you love all the days of your futile life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of futility. For that is your share in life, and in your toil which you have laboured under the sun.
