He who has found a wife has found good, And receives favour from יהוה.
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, Than with a contentious and vexed woman.
It is better to dwell in a corner of a roof, Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.
And He said to them, “Not all receive this word, but only those to whom it has been given,
“And I say to you, whoever puts away his wife, except on the ground of whoring, and marries another, commits adultery. And whoever marries her who has been put away commits adultery.”
And I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am,
forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which Elohim created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
