יהוה shows favour and is compassionate, Patient and great in loving-commitment.


But He, the Compassionate One, Pardoned crookedness, And did not destroy them. And many a time He turned His displeasure away, And did not stir up all His wrath.


But You, O יהוה, Are a compassionate Ěl and showing favour, Patient and great in loving-commitment and truth.


For You, יהוה, are good, and ready to forgive, And great in loving-commitment to all those who call upon You.


“How could I give you up, Ephrayim? How could I hand you over, Yisra’ĕl? How could I make you like Aḏmah? How could I set you like Tseḇoyim? My heart turns within Me, all My compassion is kindled.


And that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’


Then his master called him and said to him, ‘Wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt seeing you begged me.


And when they were unable to repay, he forgave them both. Which of them, then, shall love him more?


And Shim‛on answering, said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.”


So they put away the foreign mighty ones from their midst and served יהוה. And His being was grieved with the trouble of Yisra’ĕl.
