you no longer let him do any matter at all for his father or his mother,
And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
Then you no longer are permitting him to do anything for [his] father or mother [but are letting him off from helping them].
ye no longer suffer him to do aught for his father or his mother;
then you are no longer required to care for your father or mother.’
then you do not release him to do anything for his father or mother,
And further you suffer him not to do any thing for his father or mother,
“But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me, is Qorban (that is, a gift),” ’
nullifying the Word of Elohim through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such traditions you do.”
