And they feared exceedingly, and asked each other, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
And taking the child by the hand He said to her, “Talitha, qumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
But He ordered them many times that no one should know it, and said that she should be given food to eat.
And He went up to them, into the boat, and the wind ceased. And they were exceedingly amazed in themselves, and marvelled.
And they were immeasurably astonished, saying, “He has done all well. He makes even the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.”
