“For I delight in loving-commitment and not slaughtering, and in the knowledge of Elohim more than ascending offerings.
He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love loving-commitment, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?
even as the Son of Aḏam did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe the mint and the anise and the cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah: the right-ruling and the compassion and the belief. These need to have been done, without neglecting the others.
“Who, then, of these three, do you think, was neighbour to him who fell among the robbers?”
