And Amatsyahu said to the man of Elohim, “But what do we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Yisra’ĕl?” And the man of Elohim answered, “יהוה has more to give you than this.”
Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth! For יהוה has spoken, “I have reared and brought up children, but they have transgressed against Me.
‘and the land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat to satisfaction, and shall dwell there in safety.
but in the seventh year the land is to have a Sabbath of rest, a Sabbath to יהוה. Do not sow your field and do not prune your vineyard.
‘And the Sabbath of the land shall be to you for food, for you and your servant, and for your female servant and your hired servant, and for the stranger who sojourns with you,
Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat to eat.’ ”
And the mixed multitude who were in their midst lusted greatly, so the children of Yisra’ĕl also wept again and said, “Who is giving us meat to eat?
And He said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little belief?” Then, having risen, He rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.
“And do not seek what you shall eat or what you shall drink, and do not keep worrying.
Do not worry at all, but in every matter, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim.
