יהושע sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronim,


And the two taught ones heard him speaking, and they followed יהושע.


Therefore many of the Yehuḏim who had come to Miryam, and had seen what יהושע did, believed in Him.


Come, see a Man who told me all that I have done. Is this not the Messiah?


They went out of the city and were coming to Him.


“I sent you to reap that for which you have not laboured. Others have laboured, and you have entered into their labours.”


Therefore when the Shomeronim came to Him, they were asking Him to stay with them, and He stayed there two days.


And they said to the woman, “We no longer believe because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard, and we know that this is truly the Messiah, the Saviour of the world.”


So He came to a city of Shomeron, called Sheḵem, near the piece of land Ya‛aqoḇ gave to his son Yosĕph.


For His taught ones had gone off into the city to buy food.
