And a certain one was sick, El‛azar from Bĕyth Anyah, the village of Miryam and her sister Martha.
He said this, and after that He said to them, “Our friend El‛azar has fallen asleep, but I am going there, to wake him up.”
(Now it was Miryam who anointed the Master with perfume and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother El‛azar was sick).
Martha, then, said to יהושע, “Master, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
And one of His taught ones, whom יהושע loved, was reclining on the bosom of יהושע.
“As many as I love, I reprove and discipline. So be ardent and repent.
