And when the Master saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
And Yoḥanan, calling two of his taught ones near, sent to יהושע, saying, “Are You the Coming One, or should we look for another?”
Martha, then, said to יהושע, “Master, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Master, see, he whom You love is sick.”
Miryam, therefore, when she came where יהושע was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Master, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
Then Miryam took a pound of costly perfume of nard, anointed the feet of יהושע, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
“Then if I, Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
