He made a breach in me, breach upon breach. He runs upon me like a mighty man.

He breaketh me with breach upon breach, He runneth upon me like a giant.

[Satan] stabs me, making breach after breach and attacking again and again; he runs at me like a giant and irresistible warrior.

He breaketh me with breach upon breach; He runneth upon me like a giant.

bursts me open over and over, runs against me like a strong man.

He has surrounded me with his lances. He has severely wounded my lower back, he has not been lenient, and he has poured out my organs upon the earth.

He hath compassed me round about with his lances; he hath wounded my loins; he hath not spared; and hath poured out my bowels on the earth.

You have become cruel to me; with the power of Your hand You oppose me.

For He crushes me with a storm, and has multiplied my wounds for no cause.

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and breakers passed over me.

They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of battle, every one goes on his way, and they do not break ranks.

And he struck them hip and thigh, a great slaughter, and went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Ěytam.
