You who tear yourself to pieces in displeasure – would the earth be forsaken for your sake? Or the rock move from its place?

I looked at the mountains, and saw they shook, and all the hills were swaying.


And see, the veil of the Dwelling Place was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,


And I saw a great white throne and Him who was sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.


And heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
