For he flatters himself in his own eyes, To find his crookedness to be hated.
“You have done this, and I kept silent; You have thought that I was altogether like you – I rebuke you, and set it in order before your eyes.
He who hides his transgressions does not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them finds compassion.
There is a generation, clean in its own eyes, But not washed from its own filth.

“Till when would you turn here and there, O backsliding daughter? For יהוה has created what is new on earth: a woman encompasses a man!”
“And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.
but they have walked according to the stubbornness of their own heart and after the Ba‛als, which their fathers had taught them.”
The beginning of the word of יהוה with Hoshĕa. And יהוה said to Hoshĕa, “Go, take yourself a woman of whoring and children of whoring, for the land has utterly whored away from יהוה.”
But he, wishing to declare himself righteous, said to יהושע, “And who is my neighbour?”
And we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those who are in the Torah, so that every mouth might be stopped, and all the world come under judgment before Elohim.
