These were the sons of Ěsaw, who is Eḏom, and these were their chiefs.


Ěsaw took his wives from the daughters of Kena‛an: Aḏah the daughter of Ělon the Ḥittite, and Oholiḇamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Tsiḇ‛on the Ḥiwwite;


and Dishon, and Ětser, and Dishan. These were the chiefs of the Ḥorites, the sons of Sĕ‛ir, in the land of Eḏom.


And the Ḥorites formerly dwelt in Sĕ‛ir, but the descendants of Ěsaw dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their place, as Yisra’ĕl did to the land of their possession which יהוה gave them.)
