Genesis 27:3 - The Scriptures 2009

“Now then, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt wild game for me.

So now, take your hunting gear, your bow and quiver of arrows, go out to the field, and hunt game for me.

Take your weapons, the quiver and the bow, and go out. And when you have taken something by hunting,

Take thy arms, thy quiver, and bow, and go abroad: and when thou hast taken some thing by hunting,

He was a mighty hunter before יהוה, therefore it is said, “Like Nimroḏ the mighty hunter before יהוה.”

“And make me a tasty dish, such as I love, and bring it to me to eat, in order that my being does bless you before I die.”

With arrows and bows one shall go there, because all the land shall be thornbushes and weeds.

All is permitted me, but not all do profit. All is permitted me, but I shall not be under authority of any.
