And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth the living being according to its kind: livestock and creeping creatures and beasts of the earth, according to its kind.” And it came to be so.
And Elohim called the expanse ‘heavens.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the second day.
And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so.
binding up waters in His thick clouds, and the cloud is not torn under them,
Who is sending the springs into the valleys, They flow among the hills.
To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His loving-commitment is everlasting;
The heavens are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse is declaring the work of His hand.
Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.
If the clouds are filled with rain, they empty themselves upon the earth. And if a tree falls to the south or the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it is.
And the men marvelled, saying, “What is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
