“And I said to them, ‘Whoever has gold, let them take it off.’ And they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and this calf came out.”
And Mosheh saw that the people were let loose, for Aharon had let them loose, to their shame among their enemies.
And the sons of Lĕwi did according to the word of Mosheh. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day.
