And he spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five.
And יהוה gave Shelomoh wisdom, as He promised him. And there was peace between Ḥiram and Shelomoh, and the two of them made a covenant.
Proverbs of Shelomoh: A wise son makes a father rejoice, But a foolish son is his mother’s sorrow.
These too are proverbs of Shelomoh which the men of Ḥizqiyah sovereign of Yehuḏah copied:
“And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
