“יהוה has made you priest instead of Yehoyaḏa the priest, so that there are overseers in the House of יהוה over everyone who is mad and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in the stocks and in the iron collar.
The days of punishment have come, the days of retribution have come. Yisra’ĕl knows! The prophet is a fool, the ‘man of the Spirit’ is mad, because of the greatness of your crookedness, and great is the enmity.
And when His relatives heard about this, they went out to seize Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”
And the Yehuḏim were marvelling, saying, “How does this Man know letters, not having learned?”
The Yehuḏim answered and said to Him, “Do we not say well that You are a Shomeroni and have a demon?”
The Yehuḏim said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Aḇraham died, and the prophets. And You say, ‘If anyone guards My Word he shall never taste death at all.’
And hearing of the resurrection of the dead, some indeed mocked, while others said, “We shall hear you again concerning this.”
And as he reasoned about righteousness, and self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, “For the present, go. And when I find time I shall send for you.”
But after two years had passed Porcius Festus succeeded Felix. And wishing to do the Yehuḏim a favour, Felix left Sha’ul bound.
“And punishing them often in all the congregations, I compelled them to blaspheme. And being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
yet we proclaim Messiah impaled, to the Yehuḏim a stumbling-block and to the Greeks foolishness,
We are fools for the sake of Messiah, but you are wise in Messiah! We are weak, but you are strong! You are in esteem, but we are not appreciated!
For whether we are beside ourselves, it was for Elohim, or whether we are of sound mind, it is for you.
and that from a babe you have known the Set-apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Messiah יהושע.
