Festus therefore, having come to the province, three days later went up from Caesarea to Yerushalayim.


Then Festus, having talked with the council, answered, “You have appealed to Caesar? To Caesar you shall go!”


Then, indeed, Festus answered that Sha’ul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself was about to set out shortly.


And Agrippa said to Sha’ul, “You are allowed to speak for yourself.” Then Sha’ul stretched out his hand and made his defence:


Philip, however, was found at Ashdoḏ. And passing through, he brought the Good News in all the cities until he came to Caesarea.


And it came to be, as he had finished offering the ascending offering, look, Shemu’ĕl came. And Sha’ul went out to meet him, to bless him.


And one of the young men informed Aḇiḡayil, the wife of Naḇal, saying, “See, Dawiḏ has sent messengers from the wilderness to greet our master, but he scoffed at them.
