Therefore Elohim gave them up to uncleanness in the lust of their hearts, to disrespect their bodies among themselves,
I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.
I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. For even as you did present your members as servants of uncleanness, and of lawlessness resulting in lawlessness, so now present your members as servants of righteousness resulting in set-apartness.
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Messiah? Shall I then take the members of Messiah and make them members of a whore? Let it not be!
But because of whoring, let each one have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
but if they do not have self-control, let them marry, for it is better to marry than to burn.
And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power might be of Elohim, and not of us –
For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any uprightness and if there is any praise – think on these.
Let marriage be respected by all, and the bed be undefiled. But Elohim shall judge those who whore, and adulterers.
In the same way, husbands, live understandingly together, giving respect to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the favour of life, so that your prayers are not hindered.
