They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naḇoth at the head of the people.
And they conspired against him, and at the command of the sovereign they stoned him with stones in the courtyard of the House of יהוה.
But the midwives feared Elohim, and did not do as the sovereign of Mitsrayim commanded them, and kept the male children alive.
And it came to be, because the midwives feared Elohim, that He provided households for them.
Many seek the face of a ruler, But right-ruling for man comes from יהוה.
And right-ruling is driven back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has fallen in the street, and right is unable to enter.
