“Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the wadi Kerith, which flows into the Yardĕn.
And he went and did according to the word of יהוה, for he went and dwelt by the wadi Kerith, which flows into the Yardĕn.
“Rise up, go to Tsarephath, which belongs to Tsiḏon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you.”
And when He is silent, who would then condemn? And when He hides His face, who then sees Him, whether it is against a nation or a man alone?
Who provides food for the raven, when its young ones cry to Ěl, and wander about without food?
