And I say this as a concession, not as a command.
But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
But I am saying this more as a matter of permission and concession, not as a command or regulation.
But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.
I’m saying this to give you permission; it’s not a command.
But I am saying this, neither as an indulgence, nor as a commandment.
But I speak this by indulgence, not by commandment.
And to the married I command, not I, but the Master: A wife should not separate from a husband.
And to the rest I say, not the Master: If any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she thinks well to live with him, let him not send her away.
And concerning maidens: I have no command from the Master, but I give judgment as one whom the Master in His compassion has made trustworthy.
But she is better off if she remains as she is, according to my opinion. And I think I also have the Spirit of Elohim.
What I speak, I speak not according to the Master, but as in foolishness, in this boldness of boasting.
I speak not by command, but I am proving the genuineness of your love by the eagerness of others.
