And Dawiḏ the sovereign said to all the assembly, “My son Shelomoh, the one whom Elohim has chosen, is young and tender. And the work is great, because the palace is not for man but for יהוה Elohim.
“And vain men gathered to him, sons of Beliya‛al, and strengthened themselves against Reḥaḇ‛am son of Shelomoh, when Reḥaḇ‛am was young and tender of heart and could not be strong against them.
see, I am building a House for the Name of יהוה my Elohim, to set it apart to Him, to burn before Him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread, and for the ascending offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the appointed times of יהוה our Elohim.
