And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”


And he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.


The Lord said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the people of Israel.


The Lord was angry with me also on your account, and said, ‘You also shall not go in there;


And he said to them, “I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I am no longer able to go out and come in. The Lord has said to me, ‘You shall not go over this Jordan.’


“Ascend this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, opposite Jericho; and view the land of Canaan, which I give to the people of Israel for a possession;


For you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there, into the land which I give to the people of Israel.”
