Therefore, do not let your good be slandered,


Give no offence  to Jews or Greeks or the church of God,


Indeed, we are giving careful thought  to do what is right,  not only before the Lord but also before people.


Conduct  yourselves honourably among the Gentiles,  so that when they slander you as evildoers, they will observe your good works and will glorify God on the day he visits.


And he told Ruth, ‘Bring the shawl you’re wearing and hold it out.’ When she held it out, he shovelled six measures of barley into her shawl, and she  went into the town.
