But his servants approached and said to him, ‘My father,  if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more should you do it when he only tells you, “Wash and be clean”? ’


‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you are not to reap to the very edge of your field or gather the gleanings  of your harvest.


Just then  some men  brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, ‘Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.’


Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Have courage, daughter,’ he said. ‘Your faith has saved you.’   , And the woman was made well from that moment.


Finally  brothers and sisters, whatever is true,  whatever is honourable,  whatever is just,  whatever is pure,  whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable #– #if there is any moral excellence  and if there is anything praiseworthy #– #dwell on these things.


She asked, “Will you let me gather fallen corn among the bundles behind the harvesters? ” She came and has been on her feet since early morning, except that she rested a little in the shelter.’


See which field they are harvesting, and follow them. Haven’t I ordered the young men not to touch you? When you are thirsty, go and drink from the jars the young men have filled.’

Once again the Lord called, ‘Samuel! ’ Samuel got up, went to Eli, and said, ‘Here I am; you called me.’ ‘I didn’t call, my son,’ he replied. ‘Go back and lie down.’
