‘Therefore I tell you:   Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?


Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble   of its own.


‘Be on your guard,   so that your minds are not dulled   from carousing,   drunkenness,   and worries of life,   or that day will come on you unexpectedly


If anyone does not love the Lord, a curse be on him. Our Lord, come!


As it is, to have legal disputes against one another is already a defeat for you.  Why not rather be wronged?  Why not rather be cheated?


Therefore, if food causes my brother or sister to fall, I will never again eat meat,  so that I won’t cause my brother or sister to fall.


Now everyone who competes exercises self-control  in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown,  but we an imperishable crown.

to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness  to all people.


not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other,  and all the more as you see the day approaching.


For yet in a very little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.


They enquired into what time or what circumstances the Spirit of Christ  within them was indicating when he testified in advance  to the sufferings of Christ  and the glories  that would follow.


The end of all things is near;  therefore, be alert and sober-minded  for prayer.


He who testifies about these things  says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
