He was in the world, and the world was created  through him, and yet the world did not recognise him.


But to all who did receive  him,  he gave them the right  to be  children  of God,  to those who believe  in his name,


Then he said to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.


He testifies  to what he has seen and heard, and yet no one accepts his testimony.


‘Brothers and sisters, children of Abraham’s race, and those among you who fear God, it is to us that the word of this salvation has been sent.


Paul and Barnabas boldly replied, ‘It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.


we said farewell to one another and boarded the ship, and they returned home.


For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised  on behalf of God’s truth,  to confirm the promises to the fathers,


I speak the truth in Christ   #– #I am not lying; my conscience testifies to me through the Holy Spirit   #– #
